Welcome to my website! I am a graduate student in the Mehta Lab interested in the processes that contribute to the phenotypic and ecological variation found across both macroevolutionary and microevolutionary scales.
I am also the graduate mentor for the Small Mammal Undergraduate Research in the Forest (SMURF) program. Working with undergraduate interns, we monitor long term small mammal population dynamics in the UCSC Forest Ecology Research Plot (FERP), Fort Ord Natural Reserve, and Younger Lagoon Reserve.
I previously studied the relationship between diverse morphologies and burrowing behaviors in polychaete worms (Opheliidae) with Dr. Greg Rouse and Dr. Kelly Dorgan at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego where I also received my Bachelor of Science in Environmental Systems.
